Out and about again.

A couple of weeks ago I was out overnight on the moor. 

Saturday - TL Yes Tor etc heading down from Row Tor, TR Steeperton and Cosdon from Hangingstone Hill, BR the view towards Lydford Tor from Higher White, BL Sundown at Holming Beam.

A beautiful day, but there was a cold Easterly wind. 

Sunday TL Sunrise over Beardown, TR more sunrise over the ridge from Beardown to Littaford, BL Great Mis Tor, BR Brat Tor and Widgery Cross. 

A cracking weekend - many steps taken. I did use my new rucksack, but not for any distance. But I have a plan!

The weekend just gone saw a trip to the Maltings Beer Festival - 200 beers to try. 

I managed to try 12 - a very pleasant day in the sun doing … very little. 

I have managed to paint up 6 celts and am halfway through another 6 (so nearly a unit in my various rules systems), so hopefully a picture of the unit soon.
