The march of Metal

 So I have made a bit of progress with Blackstone Fortress by painting the Spindle Drones. A quick and easy paint job. 

When the bases are done should look nice. 

Also marching on the first 5 of the Necron Warriors for the Kill Team. 

The rest are on the painting table and hopefully will be done in the next couple of days.

The first inhabitants of the Fortress

Well I have had my Covid-19 vaccination, so things are heading in the right direction in regards to getting back to normal - whatever that I was or is ...

My normal is painting little plastic things and I have managed the first 4 inhabitants of the Blackstone Fortress. 

Ur-ghuls - not sure what they actually do in game terms. I haven’t looked at the rules yet as I felt I should get some of the minis painted first. Bases still need finishing off. 

Also have painted the Necron Scrabs (bases still need doing) from the starter set I picked up a while ago. I plan to try and get a Necron Kill Team from that set up in the near future - along with some other things. 

The Easter break might allow me a bit of time to finish ... start off more like so bits and bobs.

What next to the painting table?

Blackstone... Necrons or something else?

Ruststalkers

 With a bit of effort I have painted 3 Ruststalkers - including an Alpha. 

Here with the original one I picked up ages ago for the Mechanicus Kill Team.

Just the varnish and basing to be done. I am pretty pleased with these. 

I have now got to complete the tank and the Tech-Priest and I will have finished the Mechanicus minis I have got. 

I have been quite good recently and haven’t bought anymore minis for a bit (obviously I did get Blackstone Fortress game - which does need painting). 

Should be playing Call of Cthulhu tomorrow evening - I believe the team should be heading to Kenya.

A little bit more Mechanicus

 So I have painted up the 2 Sicarian Infiltrators for the Mechanicus Kill Team. 

I can have 2 Mechanicus teams - one close combat with the Skitarri Vanguard and the Sicarian Ruststalkers and one more ranges with the Skitarri Rangers and the Infiltrators

Actually I could also have teams with just Skitarri and one with just Infiltrators/Ruststalkers. Just got to finish off 3 extra Ruststalkers I picked up a while ago.  

I bit gutted that this is the first blog of March - must have been busier than I thought...
