I was discussing my lack of motivation with Steedo, so he organised a game around his last week. We played a game of Raiders of the North Sea, with Hall of Heroes expansion.
Another good game - a win for Steedo. I think I need to start a new strategy … the Valkyrie, raiding harbours and visiting the longhouse doesn’t seem to be working …
I have re done the flesh tones on these - I didn’t like the speed paint. Much happier with these faces.
I also sorted out the shields (they were the only 2 of the unit with plain shields and I picked up the new winged ones ages ago) on these elves swordsmen and replaced the axe on the leader with a sword (well top of a lance). The plan was to base 6 of these up on 60mm squares … but I am now thinking 25mm rounds and sabots again … aaagggghhhh!
